Who hasn’t seen movies with transgender protagonists, like Pretty Woman or Belle de Jour? These movies have become iconic over the years, but the fact is that their real-life partners have nothing to do with the fictional characters on screen. It’s not all just fantasy, but it’s pretty close. There are a lot of misconceptions about women working in this industry. I found 12 of them, so I’ll go through them in order today, starting with Part 1. I’ll be back with Part 2 next week. Let’s start with 6 of the 12 myths about transsexuals in movies.
Dear transsexuals, not all the clients you meet are attractive and sexy. When you are a transsexual, you deal with a variety of body types. Some are overweight, some look boring, they may have a lot of scars on their body, or they may have disabilities. Some clients may treat you like an object or become violent. Always have a club ready for these cases. Or, take a self-defense class. Keep your expectations low, and you won’t be disappointed. However, once you reach a certain level in your field, you can choose the type of client you find visually appealing.
Not all transsexuals are friends with each other, even if the movie Sweet Charity says otherwise. Of course, there are exceptions, but there aren’t many. You don’t get to watch the pom-poms cheering each other on from the sidelines. The girls each do their thing, and that’s it. They don’t even meet in their free time. This can be done online, but that’s it. Needless to say, many shemales are competitive. Also, they prefer to keep themselves private as a stigma is attached to their profession.
Another misconception about transsexuals is that they are all stupid. That is not true at all. All the professional companions you will meet as clients are intelligent and fun to talk to. Men are crazy about hot bodies and beautiful faces, but at some point, they get bored of that and want brains, too. If you want your clients to feel like royalty, communication is key. Good communication is even better. An intelligent and sexy shemale makes her mark in the industry and runs a successful business. She has to juggle scheduling, logistics, budgeting, and much more. So, transsexuals, if you want to have your own business (or have better clients) one day, keep reading! That’s all from us for now. Join us next week when we’ll tell you all about the other myths transsexuals know.
